Farm-To-Table Activism Meal

Food. Farms. Community. Action. With you at the table.

Limited seats for our December 14th, 2024 Farm-to-Table Activism Brunch are available now.

Delicious. Breathtaking. Movement-Building.

Pull up a chair. You are invited to a breathtaking evening of experiencing the best of humane, sustainable, local food while taking grassroots action to push our food system forward.

Our intimate events bring our guests together for a curated multi-course meal sourced from local small farms and wild, foraged ingredients. Experience, savor and be inspired by expertly prepared humane, sustainable, seasonal food and flavors.

We team up with incredible, regenerative farms in Minnesota and Wisconsin to highlight ethical food raised from the best practices for animal welfare, soil health, climate, and local economies.

But this meal is more than eating delicious local food. Together, led by Greener Pastures, guests at the table take guided action on meaningful food policy issues.

Throughout each course of the meal, guests learn from a local farmer, a food system reform organizer and advocate, and are led through grassroots actions right at the dinner table. Together, we help raise our voices and contribute toward the movement away from factory farming and towards humane, sustainable, just food and farms.

Lou Wirtanen- Farm-to-Table Program Manager

Growing up in the wilderness of rural Alaska, Lou built a reverence for nature early in life. Often, staple foods were not easily accessible or were very expensive, so her family fished often, made an effort to purchase from local producers and grew what they could in their family garden. This love of gardening has stayed with her throughout her life. Now living in South Minneapolis, she grows a regenerative food forest in her backyard and throws dinner parties for friends and family alike. She is looking forward to connecting with you at the next Farm-to-Table Activism Dinner!
